Of all your writings, I like your travel writings the best. There's an authencity and a rhythm to the writing that carries through from begining to end.
I would think that it's easier to write about experiences rather than inventing lives and circumstances, although, I'm sure that things that you've lived enter in your fiction, just in different form. I think that dialogue would be the most difficult to write, especially putting yourself into the mind of another sex and/or a different culture. Then again, that may not be true for all writers.

Thanks. I do like writing about my experiences in other places and find it less strenuous than, say, fiction. That may have something to do with it.
